Frage ETA

Direkt heißt für mich gleich weiter fliegen also Transit.

    Zitat

If you need an eTA to visit Canada, then you also need an eTA to transit through Canada without stopping or visiting. An eTA costs $7 CAD and it only takes a few minutes to apply for one.

    Zitat

You may not need a transit visa or an eTA if you travel to or from the United States. The Transit Without Visa program (TWOV) and the China Transit Program (CTP) allow certain foreign nationals to transit through Canada on their way to and from the United States without a Canadian transit visa or eTA, if they meet certain requirements.

    Noch genauer:

    Zitat

I am visiting the U.S. I want to come to Canada. Do I need an eTA?
It depends if you are from an eTA-required country and how you travel to Canada.

If you are from an eTA-required country and will travel to Canada by air, you will need an eTA.
If you are from an eTA-required country and will travel to Canada by land or sea, you will not need an eTA. However, carry proper identification to show to the border services officer when you enter Canada.
If you are from a visa-required country, you will need to get a visa no matter how you arrive. Find out how to apply for a visa.
