The wide-open roads in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, offer no shortage of jaw-dropping views. As we made our way around the region, there were plenty of waterfalls and stunning rocky cliffs to admire. But the real showstoppers are furry, feathered and totally wild – and on full display at Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge. We brought our binoculars to catch a glimpse of birds, raptors and even moose.
